Kitchen & Dining Rooms
The Dietary Department provides nutritionally balanced meals for therapeutic diets to meet the needs of our residents. All food is tastefully prepared according to Kosher dietary laws and whenever possible we try to honor special food requests. In addition to regular meals, residents have a choice of afternoon and bedtime snacks.
Located on the first floor, our dining room is designed and decorated to enhance socialization and create an enjoyable mealtime experience for our residents. Additionally, satellite dining areas are located on each floor. To make residents feel more at home and to better accommodate their personal schedule, residents also may request to have meals served at times other than during dining room meal service.

Traditional Thanksgiving, Christmas, Rosh Hashana and Passover dinners are part of holiday festivities at NBJCH. And to make these special occasions even more enjoyable for our residents, families are encouraged to share in our mealtime celebrations.
